It's with an extremely heavy heart and probably the most https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1PADXAPffL/ thing I've ever had to do. But we are looking to rehome our boy who is 6 years old.

We've tried lots of different things but he just doesn't like our baby very much and that's something I can't even deal with.

Anyone that knows us, knows how much we love our dog and have whole heartedly been the best dog family for him. He truly is a great dog, he just doesnt work for our busy, baby home anymore.

I would love him to go to a loving family with older children or a couple who can invest the time and embrace some quiet that we just cannot offer at the moment. He loves to play and he loves to cuddle and he is the bestest friend anyone could ever have, he just don't want to be our babies best friend even though she adores him!

This is honestly extremely hard for us as a family and would love him to go to someone who I know and trust before even considering getting him adopted.

Please bare our feelings in mind, but if anyone would like to take him and offer him what we can't right now I would be eternally grateful. Please message if serious or want to know anything about our boy 😢😢😢

He is not good with other dogs or cats unfortunately but loves people.

Neo is a 9 week old GSD/Collie cross. Lovely gentle but playful personality and will be a wonderful companion for someone. He comes from a litter where the parents can be seen and the family chose to breed because the parents are such lovely dogs.

However, it appears that Neo has a medical condition called megaesophagus meaning that he has an enlarged oesophagus and his muscles aren’t strong enough to push all of his food down to his stomach. This can be managed by feeding him in a Bailey chair (see photo) and keeping him in the chair for 15 minutes post feeding. If this routine is observed there is no reason that he can’t lead an otherwise normal life. But we need someone who is willing to give him that extra time with feeding. He will be supplied with his chair and another chair once he outgrows this one.

Please let us know if you would be willing to give Neo a loving home and a bit more of your time. He will return your love and be your forever friend. Happy to answer any questions if you think you can help.

The last photo is an example of a dog in and using the chair 😊

Hi Karen, we hope you are well! All has been going really well here with the Spectacular Six, however just before I was about to send you a batch of pictures, Nyxie disappeared.

She has disappeared before, but never for this long without a sighting - it has been 10 days since anyone has seen her.

We've checked in all the paddocks, sheds, garages and greenhouses nearby, been round Platt Woods from every direction, and driven the roads close to our home (Platt Common, Windmill Hill, etc.), but can't find anything.

Would you be able to post her picture on your website, just in case anyone may have seen her? She is chipped and everything is up to date, so we are still hoping she will find her way back to us.

Please let us known if you have any ideas for anything else we can try - we are really worried 😞💔

REHOMED 🙂

This little guy (Leo) is going into foster today.
He is a JRT the owner was told but think could be a cross, and he is 9 weeks old.

He will be booked in for 1st vaccination and Microchip asap and then we will be looking for a home 😊

Ideal home would be a family home with children over 6 and preferably a very secure garden as he is a digger 😉
Homechecks and adoption fee apply.

Will update as we know more.

DONATIONS APPRECIATED

  • We are often asked by people to help find them the perfect pet, we spend a lot of time and effort into doing just that and have very good results.  We match up new families and animals perfectly and expect our animals to be treadured by their new owners. We ask a rehoming fee for each animal that is rehomed, that fee then funds the other animals at the rescue and this helps us not only to carry on rescuing, neutering, fostering and rehoming these animals but to care for animals at the rescue centre who cannot be rehomed or are not suitable to go to a new home, these animals that stay at the sanctuary will be cared for until their final days. Any money donations, fundraising or events to help us raise funds are greatly appreciated, Thankyou. X
.

Some people have been apologising for giving us a small donation, Please do not apologise, as any amount no matter how small is still appreciated and helps us enormously to carry on helping and rehoming animals.
